What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional position at Eiros Group?
Looking for a calm and gentle DSP to work with a young man in his home. He currently lives at home with his family.
Things that he enjoys doing and needs assistance with are:
· Exploring his community and going on car rides.
· Arts and crafts activities.
· Horseback riding.
· Working out at the gym, swimming, bike riding.
· Going on walks.
· Bird watching.
· Cooking simple meals.
· Working with him on his conversation skills.
Qualities in the ideal DSP include but are not limited to the following:
· Gentle and compassionate.
· Encourages new experiences and activities.
· Experience with ABA.
· Adapts to situations and can think on their toes.
· Able to read the room and predict situations before they happen.
· Excellent attention to detail.
Candidates must be willing to have a background check and drug screen done. Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
Schedules are very important to this person and their family. They are looking for staff for longevity.
Must have experience working with people with developmental disabilities. Training will be provided.

· Mondays 9:30pm-3:30pm
· Tuesdays 9:30pm-3:30pm
· Wednesdays 9:30pm-3:30pm
· Thursdays 9:30pm-3:30pm
· Fridays 9:30pm-3:30pm
