  • Job Objective: A brief overview of the position.
      • The Manager-Financial Applications is responsible for ensuring the support of end users for financial and revenue cycle software applications in use at Eisenhower Health. The Manager- Financial Applications at Eisenhower Health will collaborate with business stakeholders in human resources, supply chain, revenue cycle and finance. Under the direction of the Senior Manager Financial Applications, performs a wide variety of duties including planning, managing providing direction in the development, design and implementation of financial applications; works with Eisenhower operations staff, providers and informatics team members to advise on workflows and guide the team to configure human resources, supply chain, revenue cycle and finance systems in support of EMC’s goals related to provide ideal patient care.

  • Qualifications
    • Education
        • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Health, Science, Business; or HS diploma and an additional four (4) years of related work experience in lieu of degree.
        • Preferred: Master's degree in Information Technology, Health, Science, Business
    • Licensure/Certification
        • Required: Information Technology certification(s) in Epic and/or Project Management Certification(s)
        • Preferred: Secondary Information Technology certification(s).
    • Experience
        • Required: Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in information technology or nine (9) years of progressively responsible experience in information technology without a bachelor’s degree.
        • Preferred: Supervisory or a functional leadership role and/or have managed other colleagues.
  • Essential Responsibilities
    • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and Compliance Policies and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and reports suspected violations.
    • Manages projects by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; evaluating milestone accomplishments and evaluating optional courses of action.
    • Demonstrates effectiveness through collaborative skills, decision-making, delegation and follow up. Creates a supportive environment that promotes innovative employees and high morale.
    • Develops a qualified, engaged, certified staff and leadership team to support the systems in production throughout the health system.
    • Assigns responsibilities, projects and tasks to staff reporting to this position, balances skills and workload of the group to ensure the best support and customer satisfaction.
    • Supervises staff and manages employee performance; provides on-going performance feedback, addresses problems, orients and trains employees, verifies competency and identified and suggests ways to develop skills.
    • Champions and promotes effective system selection options, system support and process redesign with Eisenhower leadership. Recommends the use of IT to improve quality and the patient experience.
    • Achieves management goals and responsibilities set forth by the Executive Leadership Team.
    • Works closely with Information Systems management team to ensure unison across technology hardware, software and platforms.
    • Leads Financial Application projects, as assigned.
    • Communicates with customers on business issues and needs and be able to translate those needs into appropriate technical solutions.
    • Lead operational and support aspects of Financial Application vendor/contracts, cost monitoring/control, communication plan and documentation.
    • Works with vendors to determine, review and document acceptance of system changes. Facilitates communications between IS Systems Analyst personnel and vendor representatives.
    • Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
