Job Description Eisner Advisory Group LLC is seeking to fill a Business Architect position within the Technology Department focused on strategic transformation Initiatives within the audit service line. As the technology strategy is being rolled out, there are several workstreams that require a Business Process Architect who can leverage their expertise to drive change and deliver measurable business results. The selected individual will understand the business requirements and objectives and relate those requirements to overall business capabilities and into system architecture or process designs. We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and solution-focused individual that can collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. The ability to plan, execute effectively, and pivot along the way will be critical to achieving success in this role. Equally important will be the ability to motivate and influence without overt authority, while building relationships among the tax partners and stakeholders as you collaborate towards achieving a common goal. This role can be based in NJ, NY, Long Island, Philadelphia, Illinois or Florida, with flexibility to work remotely with the expectation of collaborating with team in the office some of the time. Key Responsibilities Partner with SMEs to develop a comprehensive end-to-end understanding of business processes targeted for automation, prioritize and translate requirements into systems architecture or process designs that integrate applications and master data to deliver measurable business outcomes. Responsible for understanding business functions, business process requirements, evaluating user stories and assessing viability and impact of proposals on existing business processes and distinguish the capabilities that can be adopted or performed by internal and external entities, alliance, vendors and systems. Communicate and influence effectively across multi-functional domains, pull together the right people and partner with the right teams to facilitate engagement and get results using strong networking, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Conduct, direct and lead the exploration, gathering and definition of business problems, strategic opportunities and design options to achieve business objectives Ensure enterprise-wide information and technology standards are kept (and solution investments are leveraged), regarding business change requirements and when designing the future-state of business processes. Engage in business case development, functional analysis, workflow analysis, user experience analysis and system design to define value propositions including risks, efficiency, and cost impact Identify process interdependencies, as well as process to non-process interdependencies, such as information and technology, and systems or solutions. Incorporate solution options to include capabilities across service lines, product boundaries and alliance platforms that best help the firm meet strategic goals and objectives. Collaborate with architecture (solution, enterprise) and business intelligence/data groups to develop more synergistic strategic EA and BPM-centric guidance for projects. Evaluate the short-term business needs required to support key business goals and establish priorities. Identify current EBA and BPM capability to support these goals, and how this needs to evolve to support future requirements. Provide guidelines for business analysts to follow when determining the current "as-is" state of a business process and work with the business process analysts and related team of business subject matter experts to determine the future-state of a specific business process. Partner in the strategic planning process by providing input to the scope definition of strategic initiatives leveraging capabilities, existing solutions and delivery options from the current ecosystem and assess opportunities on reusability, automation and new technologies to provide transformative ideas and accelerate delivery of value. Anticipate emerging business trends and regulatory/risk issues as a basis for recommending large-scale product, technical, functional or operations improvements. Champion business architecture ensuring its value and application is understood across the organization. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, business or any related discipline and 7 years of experience in developing business process architecture in large-scale projects Desired Skills and Experience Background/Experience within Professional Services and/or public accounting industry. Experience in the industry or one or more of the business lines with knowledge on technology capabilities used in such sectors to solve problems and capitalize on new opportunities. Experience facilitating process improvement workshops and building consensus around a plan for continuous process improvement. Experience in business case development, functional analysis, workflow analysis, user experience analysis and system design to define value propositions including risks, efficiency and cost impact. Have experience in identifying interdependencies of business and system workflows to optimize solutions. Awareness of technology trends with ability to articulate their relevance and potential value in business domains. Professional experience in development and delivery via Agile framework using DevOps or enterprise tool involving multiple teams and product releases Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas and present strategies at all organization levels Excellent leadership with strong people skills and negotiation skills. #LI-SA1 Preferred Location: Iselin
