SUMMARY
Manages the front desk and assists in various administrative duties and be the initial point of contact for all visitor functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Performs job duties with accuracy, timeliness, and awareness of confidentiality.
- Must be comfortable with both oral and written communications.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Maintains standard hours and is available for special tours.
- Assists the scheduling, facilitation and preparations for foundry tours.
- Assists all departments with displays and presentations for the foundry tours.
- Works with Office Administration and Information Technology on necessary office needs to run the East Jordan Foundry.
- Manages the office supply room and internal mail system.
- Assists all departments with data entry, PBS data management, production reports etc.
- Assists the Foundry Management Group with administrative duties including, but not limited to, preparing and creating spreadsheets, letters, memos, mailings, creating presentations, etc.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Performs any other duties and projects as needed and directed.
- Prepare, edit and post communications on Snapcomms.
- Assist employees with questions and concerns.
- Promotes safety awareness, accident prevention, and employee involvement with regard to a safe work environment. Ensures employees understand the safety expectations of the organization.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
