EJ has an immediate opening for an Quality Inspector on 3rd shift starting at $20.73 and potential up to $26.34 per hour;
with an additional $1.50 shift premium.

SUMMARY
The primary focus for this position is preforming tasks related to the control and inspection of products. Quality Inspectors also conduct tests to guarantee the sand and iron produced meets associated standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with Managers, Supervisors and employees.
- Maintain and update quality inspection records.
- Inspect, test or measure products being produced.
- Remove all products that fail to meet specifications.
- Conduct routine tests of the green sand system and analyze results along with making appropriate adjustments to equipment.
- Perform routine iron chemistry checks and analyze results along with calculating additions to ensure that quality iron is being produced.
- Conduct physical testing of iron samples to ensure customer requirements are being met.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required, Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; and six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Prefer experience to read blueprints, technical documents, drawings and diagrams
- Prefer experience with Calipers, Micrometers, tape measure and other quality measurement tools.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Math skills
