Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care transport, suture, and working in an inpatient setting. This position offers the opportunity to work in a teaching hospital environment with a focus on acute care and geriatrics.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical settings
- Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Conduct patient education on various health conditions and treatment plans
- Perform venipuncture and IV therapy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Assist with durable medical equipment (DME) management
Skills
Required Skills:
- Proficient in critical care transport and suture techniques
- Experience working in an inpatient medical/surgical unit
- ACLS, BLS, RN Licence
- Skilled in venipuncture and IV therapy
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with working in a teaching hospital environment
- Experience in a medical office setting
- Knowledge of acute care practices
- Specialization in geriatric patient care

Pay: $80.00 per hour
