RN Telemetry

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, primarily focusing on monitoring patients' vital signs and managing their telemetry needs. This role is critical in ensuring that patients receive timely assessments and interventions, particularly in an inpatient setting.

Duties
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data to assess patients' conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations of patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide acute pain management and urgent care as needed.
- Assist in triage processes for patients presenting with varying levels of acuity.
- Perform sonography as required for diagnostic purposes.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in trauma medicine protocols within a Level I or Level II Trauma Center.

Experience
- A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
- Experience in an inpatient setting is preferred, particularly within telemetry or critical care units.
- Familiarity with trauma medicine practices and acute pain management techniques is advantageous.
- Previous experience in triage or urgent care settings is a plus.
- Ability to lift patients and assist with mobility as needed.

Pay: $45.00 - $51.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
