Title: IT Lead -  Cloud Operations


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating within a project team to solve complex problems and Evangelize the Cloud across the development and IT.
  • Responsible for the development of architecture blueprints for increased cloud adaption and Responsible for recommendation on Cloud architecture strategies, processes, and methodologies.
  • Design Native Cloud Application Architectures or optimize applications for AWS.
  • Involved in design and implementation of best fit solution with respect to multi-cloud ecosystem and Deep understanding of AWS components and be well versed with the AWS well architected framework and can apply those principles while designing a solution.
  • Good understanding of AWS network and security engineering principles and Improve resiliency for all cloud applications and infrastructure and ensure that HA, DR, Data Protection requirements are appropriately engineered and implemented for each workload.
  • Use configuration management, orchestration, and management tooling to ensure cloud environments meet operational and security standards and good communication skills with the ability to work with fluid requirements and shape them in collaboration with other team members.
  • Developed a detailed understanding of our cloud infrastructure systems and proposed and implemented cloud standards and architectural usage patterns.
  • Continually enhanced automation of environment architecture/deployments, taking full advantage of cloud agility utilizing IAC tools and CICD tools (git-ops).
  • Developed a Containers / Kubernetes strategy and evangelized the usage across the company and improve the security posture of our infrastructure with right monitoring and logging.
  • Work with our engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and enable them to work with our infrastructure and platforms, Lead the implementation of complex projects and initiatives that have companywide scope and create architectural artifacts for products and key technology initiatives with a focus on Cloud security.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment and Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.



Qualifications:
  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in either Computer Engineering or Information science
  • Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies within OnPrem, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments
  • Security and cloud certifications must, such as AWS, Azure, GCP and CCSP cloud certifications
  • Experience in multi-cloud security architecture, design and implementation for regulated industries and Design and Implement AWS architectures and environments, Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of Oracle based database and application-database integrations.
  • In-Depth knowledge on AWS services including VPC, RDS, IAM, EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, Route53 etc.
  • Experience designing and building CI/CD pipeline with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Kubernetes toolset.
  • Experience with hosted services in a high-volume enterprise environment and Knowledge developing/working with Linux Operating Systems.
  • Change Management and Patch Management with real-time experience with patching tools like Manage Engine, WSUS Server, and AWS Patch Manager.
  • Experience with the tools for configuring and taking backups for Azure and AWS.
  • Managing and Administrating Antivirus like McAfee, and TrendMicro in Azure and AWS cloud, working with the security team to analyse and fix CVE reports.
  • Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and CWE 25; with proven track record and experience
    in implementing and integrating remediation strategies.
  • Excellent understanding of web applications, web servers, layer 7 application technologies, frameworks, and protocols with respect to application development and deployment
  • Understanding of cloud-native and cloud-based security solutions, and the ability to integrate these solutions into cloud security architectures and familiarity with Zero Trust security models and principles, and experience implementing Zero Trust policies in cloud environments.
  • Proven experience with public cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP or AWS with experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Policy as Code (PaC) principles and tools, and the ability to design and implement secure and compliant infrastructure using these tools.
  • Adhere to prevailing Eka’s ISMS policies and procedures while delivering the duties.
