Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
- Review, evaluate, and prepare cases for trial.
- Prepare legal documents, including complaints, responses to motions to dismiss (MTD), and motions for summary judgment (MSJ).
- Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution methods.
- Prepare for and attend depositions, gathering crucial information for cases.
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests and address any associated issues.
- Attend court hearings to represent clients and present legal arguments.
- Maintain consistent communication and provide updates to clients, ensuring they are informed and engaged.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of Trial experience
- First-Party Property experience (plaintiff or defense)
- Admitted to the Florida Bar
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
