We are currently interviewing for a PT Food Runner! *Mornings, Weekends and Holidays are required*

The Food Runner duties include assisting servers in delivering food from the kitchen to guest tables. You will ensure that plates are handled carefully and delivered in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for stocking service stations and clearing tables as needed.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

Ability to:

• Anticipate and understand guests' service needs.
• Be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time.
• Focus attention on details.
• Follow directions thoroughly.
• Exert strong physical effort in transporting supplies from storeroom to restaurant and transporting trays of equipment, food, and beverages to/from the dining room.
• Endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Six months’ experience as a food runner or similar position.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Ability to count.
• Food Handlers Certification.
• Team player – need to be willing to lend a helping hand to any teammate at any time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service.
• Certification in CPR.
• Prior training in guest relations.
