Ad Operations Specialist
El Toro’s Ad Operations Specialists are a part of the Ad Operations team at El Toro. The Ad Operations team is tasked with making recommendations and serving as strategic advisory for sales, resolving client issues and requests via the support desk, documenting processes for internal and external use, provisioning orders to the ad servers, pacing to ensure quality and efficient delivery of ads, and providing reporting at the completion of the campaigns.
Ad Operations Specialists have a solid understanding of the advertising landscape, trends, and of how other companies in the space operate. They bring valuable insights to the team and help management better existing processes at El Toro.
As part of the Ad Operations department, there are rarely two days that look the same - there are constantly moving pieces and you will often participate in multiple projects at once. You will have close contact with the sales team and liaise with the development team for feature requests or to submit client issues. You will also act as an account manager and support agent as needed. Lastly, Ad Operations Specialists are key players in political season as you will ensure all requests are taken care of in a timely manner and ensure that all orders are fulfilled.
Job Role and Responsibilities
- Improve processes and products on the Ad Operations side for sales
- Communicate results, successes, and concerns with Ad leadership
- Train the team as needed
- Deploy, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize advertising campaigns
- Master the technology and business application of all El Toro products
- Master our self-service platform
- Master trading through our DSP platform
- Facilitate client needs and support requests
- Analyze, quantify, and visualize campaign performance
- Present campaign performance to sales reps and customers
- Maintain and create documentation on existing processes and products
- Fulfill customer service requests
- Master oral and written skills
- Conduct testing for development as needed

Required Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor or Masters level degree
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- DSP knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of ad tech and/or digital advertising

- Python and R
- Geospatial software (i.e. ArcGIS or MapBox)
- Data visualization tools (i.e. Power BI or Tableau)
- Knowledge of other DSPs and/or close competitors
- Experience with Jira/Confluence (Atlassian products)

Schedule and Compensation
- Full-time position
- Monday - Friday
- 8:30AM to 5:30 PM
- Occasional travel
