What is Required?
· Positive attitude
· Dedication to quality patient care
· Strong communication skills
· Reliable transportation to perform job duties
· Baccalaureate degree in counseling, theology, divinity or related field from an accredited university
· Completion of one unit of clinical pastoral education CPE preferred or minister services
· One-year experience of health care or hospice setting
· Knowledge of community resources and methods for client and family referrals

- Provide spiritual guidance and support to individuals in various settings, such as hospitals, hospices, correctional facilities, and military bases.
- Conduct religious services, including prayers, sermons, and sacraments.
- Offer counseling and emotional support to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances or grief.
- Perform religious rituals and ceremonies, such as baptisms, weddings, and funerals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to address the spiritual needs of patients.
- Assist in crisis intervention and management during emergencies or traumatic events.
- Educate individuals on religious practices and beliefs.
- Mentor and provide guidance to individuals seeking spiritual growth.
- Conduct religious education classes or workshops for community members.
- Maintain records of services provided and document interactions with individuals.
