Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and direct all activities related to the acquisition of multifamily investment properties
- Responsible for identifying, evaluating, and underwriting multifamily investment opportunities
- The evaluation process may include, but is not limited to,
- Reviewing operating statements,
- Rent rolls,
- Market rent comps
- Research and analyze demographic, economic, and real estate market data to recognize market trends in order to support all underwriting assumptions with a high level of certainty
- Communication with those parties familiar with the asset and market (investment sales brokers, lenders, property managers, tax advisors, attorneys, appraisers, and other third-party service providers);
- Travel to conduct property and market reconnaissance for potential new investments.
- Maintain detailed pipeline of potential new investments to be reviewed on a weekly basis.
- Prepare presentation material for recommended acquisition opportunities and present recommendations to Leadership.
- Remain involved in the due diligence and closing process.
- Ensure that objectives and timelines are being met.
- Prepare and deliver timely, accurate and complete reports
- Ultimately responsible for closing on each property
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One (1) or more years of experience in acquisitions side of multifamily investment space preferred
