Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan and direct all activities related to the acquisition of multifamily investment properties
• Responsible for identifying, evaluating, and underwriting multifamily investment opportunities
• The evaluation process may include, but is not limited to,
• Reviewing operating statements,
• Rent rolls,
• Market rent comps
• Research and analyze demographic, economic, and real estate market data to recognize market trends in order to support all underwriting assumptions with a high level of certainty
• Communication with those parties familiar with the asset and market (investment sales brokers, lenders, property managers, tax advisors, attorneys, appraisers, and other third-party service providers);
• Travel to conduct property and market reconnaissance for potential new investments.
• Maintain detailed pipeline of potential new investments to be reviewed on a weekly basis.
• Prepare presentation material for recommended acquisition opportunities and present recommendations to Leadership.
• Remain involved in the due diligence and closing process.
• Ensure that objectives and timelines are being met.
• Prepare and deliver timely, accurate and complete reports
• Ultimately responsible for closing on each property

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• One (1) or more years of experience in acquisitions side of multifamily investment space preferred
