What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at ELDER Pest Control, Inc.?
An ELDER service technician will be responsible to provide pest services to client businesses and/or residential homes for general pest/rodent/termite treatments.
A valid NJ driver's license with a clean driving record is a must, along with a good work ethic; a habit of timeliness; a well-groomed, professional appearance; and the ability to communicate with different personality types. Strong people skills are a benefit. Be self-motivated, detail-oriented, solution driven.
Positions entail daily walking, use of pesticides, basic math skills. Applicants should be able to carry weights up to 20 pounds, identify & eliminate insects/rodents, read product labels for pesticide application, use ladders & other general tools, enter small spaces for insect remediation treatments.
Current termite license is a plus and prior pest management experience is PREFERRED but not required; however, courtesy, respect, a willingness to learn & the ability to "think outside the box" are essential!
