Premier companion care company looking for experienced companion/caregiver who has a passion for helping others.
Those interested should have previous experience or training in personal care and assistance with seniors.
Responsibilities:
- Listen to, motivate and encourage your client and provide companionship
- Provide socialization and recreation/leisure activities for client
- Assist with mobility when needed
- Prepare meals as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties when needed
- Assist with personal hygiene if needed
- Assist with showering, dressing, toileting
- Provide client reminders
- Provide safety supervision
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with the elderly a plus
- Must be able to push, pull and/or lift up to 200lbs
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Bilingual a plus
- Reliable transportation to and from clients
