About the Role:

We are looking for a full stack engineer to join the team and help us accelerate the development of the Electives platform. The ideal candidate comes from a background in building SaaS solutions for at least 5 years and has experience with:

  • AWS (DynamoDB, Lambda, Route53, Cognito, CloudFront)
  • React
  • Node.js
  • CI/CD
  • Test automation

Experience with the following is a big plus:

  • Terraform
  • Kubernetes

Most importantly, we are looking for quick learners who are not afraid of picking up and mastering new skills. The technology landscape is changing quicker than ever and we expect our stack to be evolving as well.

As a senior full stack developer, the ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in best practices around security, scalability, resilience, performance optimization, automation, CI/CD, and other aspects of enterprise-grade software development.

We seek candidates that are not only passionate about technology but are also curious to fully understand the business problem they are solving. As such, we expect candidates to demonstrate good understanding of the business objectives they were trying to achieve in their previous work.

Communication skills are very important to us as we are a small and very flat team that expects people to work together and push the business forward. As part of your role as a Sr Full Stack Engineer you will also guide more junior team members, assist with code reviews and help with the creation of company standards, architecture principles, and practices.
