POSTION :SUMMARY:
EPS is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist who will be responsible to maintain the integrity of the configuration of EPS’s product, and demonstrate compliance to a variety of FAA rules, guidance documents, and industry standards. This role will manage data relevant to certification, data management, and engineering processes. This position is in Logan, UT.
WHAT YOU WILL GET TO :DO:
- Provide configuration and data management (C&DM) support
- Develops, documents and executes processes to ensure products and technical data meet regulatory and company requirements
- Serve as gatekeeper for document releases and revisions
- Process Requests Authorization for Change (RACs) and Notification of Changes (NOCs) with customers and regulators
- Manages controlled data file stores
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED :QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or related STEM degree program
- 2 years working in an aerospace configuration management environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and process driven
- Competence with MS Office applications and Document/Data Management systems
PREFERRED :QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years experience working in a commercial aerospace environment
- Experience authoring engineering, manufacturing and quality processes
- Experience with SAE AS-91000 and EAI-649
