Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is a leading power engineering consultant firm that provides engineering, system planning and studies, technical consultation, project management, surveying, environmental planning, commissioning/testing and construction services to electric utilities, energy developers and industrials throughout the U.S. Our experience includes system voltages from 4.16 kV through 765 kV.
ECI is seeking motivated college students majoring in electrical engineering to intern with our company in any of the above locations.
Description: Under the direct supervision of a professional engineer, the intern will assist with electrical and substation design for substation facilities and power systems, perform engineering assistance, and other miscellaneous tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Requirements: Currently completing sophomore year in electrical engineering (emphasis in power preferred); excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in a team environment; and attention to detail. The successful applicant may be subject to client-mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving may be required; therefore, the successful applicant will be subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements.
