Our client is seeking a Web Content Coordinator for a contract to perm opportunity in Quantico, VA. In this role, the Web Content Creator will have primary responsibility for management, updating, and coordination with the Content Management System (Wordpress) and the Association Management System (Nimble AMS). The Web Content Creator should have working knowledge of platforms/applications including Learning Management Systems, Content Distribution Systems, Point of Sale Systems such as Counterpoint, and Google Analytics and the ability to support the design, content creation and overall function of the “digital presence” with a focus on the main content website, internal coordination across departments to ensure website infrastructure requirements are identified, prioritized and resolved in a timely manner, and liaising with web hosting services and web developers such as Ricoh, WP Engine, Nimble AMS other external consultants and contractors.

This is a hybrid role (one day per week onsite with the potential to go fully remote in the future).

Responsibilities

• Coordination with of all the departments’ content creators/content managers to ensure website infrastructure requirements are identified, prioritized and troubleshooting is resolved in a timely manner.
• Act as primary liaison to site developers and hosts supporting the content website.
• Assist all departments in posting and maintenance of individual department pages and content.
• Other duties as assigned or requested by Director Communications and VP Professional Development
• Mastery of content and publishing platforms and applications including WordPress, MS Office 365, InDesign, Adobe Suite, and Google Analytics on both Apple and PC hardware.
• Working knowledge of web platforms and social media including YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a college degree (BS/BA) required in computer science, software engineering and/or web design. 
• 3-5 years’ experience in website management and design. 
• 3-5 years relevant working experience to include team-building and superior written/verbal communication skills
