Electrical Test Technician

Element has an opportunity for an Electrical Test Technician for a facility in Warren, Ohio.

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for performing various electrical tests required for research, development for Electric Vehicle (EV) charging cable assemblies & automotive components.

Overview:

• Must setup and conduct product electrical tests per technical specifications.
• Operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Monitor test progress to meet scheduled milestones.
• Accurately record test results/documentation and write final reports.
• Acquire knowledge and proficiency in the use of general and specialized laboratory techniques, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Prepare test samples.
• Perform standard engineering test measurements.
• Record test data and product performance.
• Prepare test reports.

Skills / Qualifications:

• Must have 1-3 years of experience.
• Minimum of a two-year associate degree in electrical/electronic discipline and/or equivalent experience or bachelor's in electrical engineering.
• Possess an aptitude for electrical or electronic technology
• Must have basic understanding and knowledge of Voltage, AC/DC and OHM's Law
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a testing related field
• Must have basic understanding of laboratory equipment including Multimeter and Oscilloscope
• Analyzes and compiles testing data from the tests performed
• Basic understanding of testing concepts
• Possess computer skills
• Must be able to work 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm-Monday-Friday with some overtime.

The position is full time, 1st shift with a starting hourly rate range based on experience and education. We also offer an excellent benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(K), Paid Vacation and Paid Holidays.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 43 per week
