Element has an opportunity for Mechanic for Singapore

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the inspection, maintenance and field repair of all machineries and equipment repair and maintenance works (drilling equipment, heavy construction equipment),in good running condition

This will be a site-based position in Singapore

Responsibilities

• Carry all repair and maintenance works of Boast, A Frame, Hanjin and Crawler type (Top Drive) drilling rigs used in soil investigation, geotechnical instrumentation and recharge well drilling works
• Hands on troubleshooting and repairing (on-site and off-site)
• Attend and provide technical support to operation team to achieve productivity, technical, quality and safety requirement
• Coordinate with PE and relevant parties for insurance and LM registration or renewal
• Shall provide for preventive, routine and non-routine maintenance and for the repair of drilling related equipment of the rig
• Keep the stock of spare parts and consumables at the appropriate level by verifying the stock levels and reporting to superiors the deficiencies taking in consideration future maintenance requirements and delivery time

Skills / Qualifications

• Possess ITE Certificate (NITEC) and above in Mechanical or Relevant Diploma
• Knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic control, hydraulic moto , hydraulic pump and water pump
• Min 2 years’ experience
• Class 3 driving license is an advantage
