Test Technician

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Dynamics Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team.As a member of the operations team, the Dynamics Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision.  

Salary range: $20 - $25 / USD HOURLY

Responsibilities

• Sets up and conducts environmental simulation tests specifically focused on Dynamics: Vibration and Shock, but also including Climatics: Temperature/Humidity, Thermal Shock, Salt Spray, HALT, IP and NEMA Spray, Drop, Compression, Cargo Bounce, Accelerated Weathering, Acceleration, Altitude, Thermal Vacuum, and Pressure
• Documents test setup, progression, and results
• Organizes and documents data for each assigned project in the project’s test log
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of test standards, product test procedures, and instrumentation
• Interacts with customers during the testing process

Skills / Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED certificate required
• Working knowledge of laboratory safety
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a testing related field
• Analyzes and compiles testing data from the tests performed
