FRAC Operator - Casper, Wyoming - Hiring for all Frac Operator Positions!
FRAC Operator is responsible for developing an overall understanding of a Frac Location, specifically the dangers of the red zone, yellow zone, and chemical zones. Will work closely with the Line Boss with responsibility for keeping greasers and fuel tanks full, and assisting with pump maintenance. Will learn basic rig-in/rig-out procedures, learn to troubleshoot, and complete preventive maintenance and paperwork as required. Hiring for all Frac Operator Positions!
Job Duties
Pump maintenance
Filling greasers
Understanding of various FRAC operations including red, yellow, and chemical zones
Monitor fuel levels and make sure fuelers are staying ahead of consumption
Advise Supervisors of fuel consumption and miscellaneous top ups
Assist Line Boss and other crew members as needed
Assist with rig-in/rig-out as required
Maintain fuel trailer cleanliness
Assist with setup of sand storage unit
Guiding sand trucks on and off location with proper hand signals
Check bins between zones and advise Supervisor of sand levels
Understanding and knowledge of proppants and where they are required in the FRAC
Maintains cleanliness of tractors while on the job
Perform pre and post trip inspections on equipment operated, ensuring safety and road-worthiness
Attend pre-job safety meetings
Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, driver's hours of service, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods, fatigue management
Maneuver equipment following appropriate hand signals.
Maintain driver logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status.
Maintains effective communication with co-workers
Requirements
Valid Class A CDL
Satisfactory driving record
Prior experience an asset
Knowledge of truck and equipment safety
Knowledge of equipment maintenance
Strong oral and written communication abilities
High level of personal integrity
Strong work ethic
Mature demeanor under stressful situations
Able to work with little supervision
Able to work effectively in a diverse working environment
