What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Parts Coordinator position at Element2 Group?
We're looking for a FIRST SHIFT parts departmentcoordinator to join our team!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Extensive customer interface by phone/email/text or in-person regarding quoting, ordering, processing, and the delivery of machine spare parts.
- Solicit information from customers through a variety of questions and probing techniques, assessing their needs and requirements.
- Generate parts quotation for machine audits
- Meet all sales and production metrics as prescribed by management.
- Work closely with the Materials group to set up stocking levels and safety stock.
- Provide spare parts kits, working with engineering for all new machines and aftermarket enhancements.
- Coordinate with stockroom personnel on customer shipping procedures and methods.
- Work directly with supply chain procurement to set inventory levels to support spare parts forecast.
- Train customer service team on proper procedure for part quotations and sales order entry.
- Maintain customer database of machinery and contacts.
- Communicate field issues to engineering and quality as needed.
- 10% travel required across the USA and Canada for stockroom audits of spare parts.
Qualifications:
- 3 years minimum of proven sales experience working in an Inside Sales/Customer Service or Support role in a manufacturing company.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written plus listening skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel and MRP a plus)

Pay: $57,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
