Job Summary: Element2 is hiring for multiple Machine Operator positions across three shifts in our expanding production facility. These full-time roles include opportunities for overtime and significant growth as we continue to enhance our operations.
Role Overview: As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various machinery and equipment used in our production processes. Your role will ensure machines run smoothly, meet production goals, and comply with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Operate and oversee machinery, including [specific machines, e.g., CNC machines, presses, grinders], to maintain efficient production flow.
- Setup and Calibration: Prepare machines for production runs by loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment as necessary.
- Quality Control: Monitor and inspect products during and after production to ensure they meet quality standards. Make any required adjustments to rectify defects.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and promptly report any safety concerns.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate production and maintenance logs, documenting machine performance, downtime, and any operational incidents.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in team meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or relevant certifications in machine operation is preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Skills:
- Proficient in machine operation and maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical Requirements:
