Actuarial Director
Location: Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy, providing various levels of flexibility while also ensuring that associates have opportunities to connect in-person. Unless in a designated virtual-eligible role and specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. How You Will Make An Impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Prepares and interprets data and related formulae.
- Responsible for new product pricing for external clients.
- Serves on major, multi-function projects as Actuarial representative.
- Financial forecasts for multiyear contracts
- Organizes and directs the staffing and work flow of the section.
- Requires a BA/BS degree and minimum of 6 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- FSA required from the Society of Actuaries (SOA).
- Strong actuarial pricing experience
- Experience in government and commercial business
- Ability to manage several complex products at one time.
- ASA with two extra years of Actuarial experience can substitute for the FSA
