Description
Location: Remote opportunity, all locations will be considered
Responsible for developing and executing Value Based programs in SAS. Working with complex data analysis, reporting and formulating recommendations within the Health Economics Team.
How you will make an Impact;
- Determines how decision support systems will provide the data required to make effective business decisions.
- Performs modeling of information sources and flows.
- May coordinate the activities of a project team and monitors project schedules and costs for own projects.
- The majority of time will be spent programming.
- Conducts training on use of applications developed.
- Helps create and maintain Value Based programs in SAS.
- Creates and publishes periodic reports, as well as any necessary ad hoc reports.
Minimum Requirements;
Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 4 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. PC, spreadsheet, and database skills strongly preferred. Experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages required.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and statistical
- software to include SQL strongly preferred
- Experience with SAS preferred
- Proficiency with MS Excel is strongly preferred
- MS Access is a plus!
- Ability to manipulate large sets of data strongly preferred
- Healthcare knowledge preferred, Value Based experience a plus!
