What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business RPA Consultant position at Elevance Health?
This position could primarily be remote, but proximity to an Elevance Health major office (pulse point) is a plus. Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with pulse point sites used for collaboration, community, and connection.
The Business RPA Consultant is responsible for building and implementing enterprise business solutions utilizing robotics software.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Works with Business Automation Analyst for process identification and feasibility, solving issues that arise in day to day running and providing timely responses and solutions as required.
- Performs Proof of Concepts to help the business recognize the feasibility of an automated solution using Robotic Process Automation software.
- Leads structured peer reviews and walkthroughs.
- Creates and maintains BOTs that will interact with multiple internal and external applications, and assists with infrastructure support.
- Participates in the technical design and development including creating and maintaining solution documentation.
- Engages cross-functional team members effectively to develop high quality products.
- Maintains and improves existing applications by working closely with business stakeholders to map existing work processes and identify productivity opportunities.
- Ensures best practices are being followed at each stage of development and test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases are documented.
- Upskills to become a SME in various financial, business intelligence, and BPA software to handle complex issues and to build new solutions and analytic models
Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 7 years relevant experience, at least 2 years' experience building Robots utilizing Robotics Process Automation (RPA) software; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Project management experience and/or experience in leading other associates in a team environment to drive business solutions strongly preferred.
- 5 years relevant experience in Business Process Automation development strongly preferred.
- Undaunted, detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Experience with UiPath Studio, SQL server, web service, Power Query, Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, and/or Kyriba.
- RPA Advanced Developer Certification.
- Can work remotely and in an office environment.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or IT preferred.
