About Our Office: Elevate Dental is a modern dental office in the heart of San Antonio – located just south of The Pearl. We take pride in going above and beyond to provide our patients with outstanding customer service and personalized dental care. Our team members are expected to deliver an exceptional experience to our guests in our beautiful design-driven space.
Our Practice: We accept PPO, FFS, and private pay patients; Medicaid and HMO insurances are not accepted at this time. We are fortunate to be surrounded by other amazing and like-minded local businesses including coffee shops, breweries, retail stores, and eateries in our neighborhood. Due to the nature of our location, our patient base is predominantly young professionals who reside and work in downtown although we welcome patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Summary of the position: Currently hiring a treatment coordinator with prior dental office experience who is comfortable with presenting treatment plans, financing options, and insurances to patients and communicating with insurance companies. We are seeking an individual with a cheerful personality, great attitude, reliable, punctual, and engaging with patients as well as other staff members. Applicants should be open-minded, flexible, optimistic, with a willingness to learn and perform all assigned tasks with a smile.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- 1 year of experience as a treatment coordinator or front office team member.
- Available to work 2-3 Saturdays a month.
- Able to work flexible hours (see hours of business)
- Valid driver’s license.
- Required vaccinations - Hep B.
Preferred:
- Ability to speak and write Spanish is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with Open Dental patient management software is preferred, but not required.
Pay Range: $17.50 - $20.00 hourly depending on experience, hours will range from 32 -38 hours weekly
Current Hours of Operation:
Team members arrive 30 minutes before hours of operation
Wednesday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Thursday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Saturdays 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (currently 2-3 Saturdays per month)

Expected Front Desk-Treatment Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Greet, check-in, and check-out patients.
- Schedule patients, answer phones, follow-up on calls and information requests, take messages, return voicemails, and reply to emails.
- Willingness to lend a helping hand wherever is need
- Participate in assigned office cleaning duties.
- Submitting insurance claims and managing denials/appeals.
- Validate that insurance fee schedules are accurate and update if needed.
- Present treatment plans, financial options, and discuss insurances with patients in an easy to understand manner.
- Verify insurances, create insurance breakdowns.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional appearance, which includes both attire and attitude.
- Provide great patient care and exceptional customer service.
- Punctual and willing to work assigned hours including occasional early mornings, late evenings, and Saturdays.
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
