The Team:                                                  

The Teacher Recruiting Program team is reinventing how we recruit teachers to contract with Elevate. Recruiting the right candidates across the country at scale is critical to our ability to partner with our school district customers. As the search for teachers becomes more competitive, we are bringing together recruiting, tech, marketing and process teams to find and hire candidates quickly and efficiently.  The Program leader will manage the full experience - from application to interviews to process flows.  This role leads a direct team of recruiters, offshore RPO agents, and has a heavy overlap with Tech/Product/Instruction.

  • Create innovative ideas that drive hiring processes to recruit teacher talent
  • Manage all reqs and forecast current and future needs to revamp the recruiting space
  • Create an efficient hiring model and report progress
  • Innovate and deliver projects that impact hiring and onboarding
  • Partner with the Academics team to ensure all new hires are prepared for onboarding
  • Partner with the Technology team to define and build enterprise-level systems that improve business processes used by our recruiters.  
  • Strategize to improve, centralize, and/or partner to implement tech solutions.
  • Create a realistic image of the current state and finds ways to close gaps
  • Run recruiting metrics to identify opportunities within the recruiting funnel and partner with recruiting teams to implement appropriate mechanisms
  • Maintain ownership over candidate engagement, internal engagement surveys, and results 
  • Develop re-engagement strategy to leverage internal candidate pool, Internal sourcing process, reapplication process and more
  • Monitor Glassdoor profile trends and facilitate internal response or related actions

Who you are:

  • Prior experience in program management or process development for recruiting and/or HR. 
  • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • 10 years of experience in product/program management
  • 3 years people management experience
