The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Material Planner, The Material Onboarding Specialist ensures smooth integration of materials for TT and Clinical runs, handling procurement, inventory, and distribution. Responsibilities include coordinating material push through RMF, managing inventory expiry, and overseeing timely delivery to support project timelines. Collaboration with teams ensures compliance with quality standards and effective inventory management.

Here's What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate the push of materials through the Risk Management Framework process to ensure compliance and timely availability.
  • Collaborate with procurement to determine and order appropriate quantities of materials required for early Tech Transfer runs.
  • Conduct weekly management of short expiry reagents to prevent wastage and ensure availability for ongoing projects.
  • Participate in weekly procurement meetings to review and adjust steady-state ordering quantities based on project needs and inventory levels.
  • Manage client-owned materials, including ordering, delivery, and documentation, to meet project timelines and requirements.
  • Provide support for client Tech Transfer schedules by assisting with Apheresis scheduling and ordering of necessary materials.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to streamline the kitting process for early Tech Transfer runs, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor material expiry dates and initiate reordering processes as needed to prevent delays in project timelines.
  • Work closely with the Technical Operations team to manage obsolete materials, including setting up and ordering alternate options as required.
  • Maintain a database of alternate materials and ensure their availability to mitigate any disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Follow up with QCRM to ensure timely release of materials in preparation for Tech Transfer runs.
  • Conduct follow-up activities related to the identification and testing of materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct Inventory rebalancing and reconciliation exercises
  • Ad-Hoc Supply Planning Analysis as required.

Requirements:

  • Rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (MBA Candidates will not be considered)
  • Full Time Co-Op Credit
  • GPA is at least a 3.5
  • Ability to work autonomously and cross functionally on multiple initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Communicative, a team player, resilient and enjoys challenges.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
