*$3,000 SIGNING BONUS*

Elevation Tax is seeking an associate level tax professional interested in a career with a local public accounting firm.

Responsibilities/Skill Set:

  • Managing client relationships
  • Coordinating client tax return preparation and deadlines
  • Reviewing and preparing multi-state personal and business tax returns
  • Identifying consulting opportunities
  • Managing tax planning strategies for individuals and businesses, including projections
  • Performing tax and accounting research
  • Strong information technology skills (We work in a paperless server/cloud based system)
  • Ability to communicate in written and verbal format for email/phone/face-to-face meetings/conferences
  • Highly motivated individual(s) with the ability to problem solve
  • Ability to work in deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Minimum Requirements

  • CPA or working towards it and 2 years Tax Preparation Experience
  • Ultra Tax or similar tax software experience

Pay and Benefits

  • $3,000 signing bonus - $1,000 after 30 days and $2,000 after 90 days
  • Great bonus structure
  • Paid vacation and 2 weeks PTO
  • 401k match
  • No billable hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

  • Flexible schedule

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

  • Tax experience: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • CPA (Preferred)
