Role:
The RPA Developer is responsible for designing, building, developing and implementing automation solutions focusing on process improvement, process flow, waste elimination, efficiency, and effectiveness. Includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party vendors, contractors, or consultants to deliver projects timely and according to plan with intent to improve both internal and external user experience.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
30% - Design, build, and execute software robots to convert manual and/or repeatable business processes into automated or partially automated solutions using RPA software or other solutions.
20% - Engage with cross-functional teams to develop business requirement documentation of the process to be automated in a manner that is understood by the business users and can be shared with RPA solution design and development teams.
20% - Develop project plans including the scope and deliverables required to support the credit union goals. Effectively coordinate and communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. Set and continually monitor project expectations with team members.
15% - Translate user needs into requirements and specifications using interviews, document analysis, job shadows, process recordings, and process mapping.
10% - Where testing is required coordinate with other department managers for the support required to ensure programs will work as planned
5% - Other duties as assigned.

1. Meets established expectations of ELGA's Core Factors including but not limited to Accountability, Attitude, Communication, Competence, Continuous Improvement & Innovation and Relationship Building.

2. Exhibits excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as listening with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
3. Holds regular status meetings with project teams keeping them well informed of changes within the organization as well as external news. Resolves and escalates issues in a timely fashion. Understands how to communicate difficult sensitive information tactfully.
Serves as conduit between the internal users and the technology staff to ensure enhancements and new products meet expectations. Performs testing of new technology and upgrades.
4. Acts as a liaison between business and technical resources to ensure successful implementation of project initiatives.
5. Learns and understands how technology application programming, database, system design, Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server technologies work together for successful project management. Possesses a thorough understanding of our current capabilities, maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: Two years to five years of similar or related experience in credit union industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associates degree required or equivalent work experience.
Interpersonal Skills: Evidence of working a project-based environment. Awareness of how technology can add value to the organization. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.
Other Skills:
Technically competent with various software programs, including Microsoft Office, Project management software and reporting tools, CUNextGen MRM, RPA Genie and AppForms. Experience in programming languages like Python, C/C , Java. Familiar with Agile development methodology. Has the ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment. Effective meeting facilitation skills. Ability to rapidly grasp processes and identify potential RPA solutions and process improvements. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects and to take initiative without always being directed.
Work Environment: Work is primarily conducted in the office with flexibility for occasional remote work.
