Holbrook Manufacturing, the corporate headquarters, is currently looking to hire a dynamic and energetic individual for an Inside Sales Representative role.
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the direct interaction with the customer with the purpose of generating top line growth by winning new business and gaining new customers. Core functions will be quote generation and timely response to quotes, lead generation, opportunity evaluation and methodical follow-up with successful negotiation of new business by quoting to market.
• Work in conjunction with the Inside Sales and Engineering Manager, outside sales, technical sales and manufacturing representatives to execute the company’s sales and growth initiatives thru the markets and channels as defined in EFG’s go-to-market strategy.
• Lead, plan, and review the work of Jr staff responsible for providing inside sales functions and services. Performs the most complex work of the unit. Provides training to assigned employees in their areas of work including inside sales related methods, procedures, and techniques.
• Use expertise to build strong healthy relationships with clients, convince them of all benefits of doing business with the organization and create an open and accessible communication rout for free flow of information. Work closely with other EFG team members to ensure that all agreed upon expectations for each order are met and follow the quote.
• Lead the report out of sales project/product development activities from quote thru negotiation and receipt of PO, effectively communicating progress and confidence levels to management & customer service team during the process. Support contract review and product realization efforts with the plant after contract review.
• Visit customers to secure new business or resolve issues. Help manage the supplier base. Project manage high priority tasks through the toll gate process.
• Collaborate with Application and Manufacturing Engineering and Operational Team members to improve processes and practices, in helping to secure orders
• Perform timely quote follow-ups, working with other EFG team members during negotiations to review quotes and make necessary adjustments with the goal of winning the business.
• Understand basic fastener terminology and communicate with others to remove hurdles and win new business.
• Provide support to other EFG team members to assist in winning new business.
• Track ongoing projects and work to turn them into an order that meets EFG profit goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
Key needs for this role:
- 5-7 years of inside sales experience and account management
- 4-year technical or business degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Fluent English language and well-spoken with excellent writing skills
- Excellent computer systems skills which include MS-Office and ERP systems
- Excellent math, logic and organizational skills
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast -paced environment
- Previous fastener experience is a plus
- Epicor ERP experience a plus
