Major Responsibilities: Responsible for sales order entry, marketing, advanced pricing, distribution, shipping and customer interface functionality in JD Edwards, including portal order entry, EDI set up, testing, report definition and generation. Facilitate business process reviews when technology requirements arise to ensure implementation goals are appropriately defined and scoped. Identify business requirements for the sales order life cycle and develop recommendations for process improvements and automation within JDE. Serve as a member of the user support team at JDE upgrades, new implementations with various businesses during M&As. Develop test scenarios and test scripts that surround applications and programs within JDE and other third parties. Triage reported defects and document findings in JDE ERP. Create, coordinate and deliver training to ensure end-user readiness (e.g., documentation, demos, videos, etc.). Through collaboration with users, define business requirements and determine the proper application for reports that either will be written via a reporting tool or as a custom report in JD Edwards. Utilize or develop processes to ensure the timely delivery of required information to internal and external customers; and participate in pre-project analysis work to enable informed decision-making about technology investments. Design high level process flows (using Visio). Travel, as necessary, to support existing or newly acquired company's businesses. 10% Domestic Travel.
Job Requirements: Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree in or foreign equivalent in computer information systems or related and 5 years of work experience in Information Technology. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: 1) Full implementations including multiple site configuration set up, with proven incorporation of structured planning and testing processes; 2) Sales order entry, marketing, advanced pricing, distribution, shipping and customer interface functionality in JD Edwards, including eCommerce, EDI set up, testing, report definition and generation; 3) Integrating eCommerce platform into JD Edwards and Third Party systems; 4) Order management and customer fulfillment in an e-commerce context, including familiarity with e-commerce platform maintenance & development; 5) Analyzing requirements, creating designs, coding and executing unit test plans and experience in converting functional design documents into technical design documents for objects development; 6) SQL statements using Oracle SQL or TOAD; 7) Design, development, testing, debugging and maintenance of forms, reports, interfaces, and conversions & enhancements using oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One toolset; and 8) Functional modules in oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One such as inventory, sales, procurement, and transportation and manufacturing.
