What are the responsibilities and job description for the Android Developer position at Eliassen Group?
Our innovative financial client needs a dedicated Android Developer to join their team. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities of the Android Developer:
- Help build user experiences and underlying platforms to support digital presence
- Work on building entire features from concept to deployment as part of autonomous cross-functional teams
- Improve products, develop skills, learn new technologies and languages, and continue to learn
- Work in a team-oriented, iterative, and fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 10 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining mobile native (Android) applications in a fast-paced Scrum environment
- Verifiable hands-on experience as an Android Developer using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Gradle, and Android Studio in an Agile environment
- Excellent understanding of testing concepts and frameworks using JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito
- Must have participated in the released of publicly available apps to Google Play from feature inception to launch
- Ability to optimally employ DevOps, automated testing, and continuous delivery using Groovy, Gradle, and Jenkins
