Our client, a financial industry leader, needs a skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer who has strong knowledge of Java, Spring, and relational databases to join their team in Durham.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. - Responsible for quality assurance readiness of software deliverables
- Create comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or subsystems
- Establish full project life cycle plans for sophisticated projects across multiple platforms
- Accountable for meeting project goals within budget and time constraints
Requirements of the Cloud Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 9 years of engineering experience
- 2 years of experience with AWS
- Expertise with Java/J2EE development, Spring framework, and IDE tools
- Ability to build and run secure Java applications on AWS
- Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices
- Agile environment experience
