Our health insurance client is seeking an OnBase QA Tester. The OnBase QA Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of OnBase solutions. This role involves designing, executing, and maintaining test plans and test cases, as well as identifying and reporting defects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality assurance processes and experience with OnBase or similar enterprise content management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for OnBase applications.
- Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of OnBase solutions.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and other quality assurance activities.
- Provide detailed and accurate test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and OnBase solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Tester, preferably with OnBase or similar enterprise content management systems.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OnBase Certified System Administrator (OCSA) or OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator (OCWA) certification.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
