What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Specialist position at Eliassen Group?
Our client, an American multinational company, needs a Procurement Specialist to join their team. Qualified applicants must reside within commuting distance of Pittsburgh and be willing and able to sit onsite as required.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. - Review and process purchase requisitions to produce an accurate PO in Oracle
- Help with vendor bidding process including researching vendors, negotiating price, and reviewing contracts
- Work with other team members and independently to resolve issues and answer questions
- Strong Oracle, procurement, purchase order, and contract review experience
- Excel, general business, cost reduction, and budget experience
- Experience with documentation maintenance, SOX audits
- Experience vendor selection, pricing vendor agreements
- Effective communication skills
