Technical Systems Analyst – SQL / APIs / Data Mapping
We are currently sourcing for a Senior Systems Analyst to work in Smithfield, RI; Westlake, TX; or Durham, NC.

Job Responsibilities:
- A successful candidate will be a key member of an agile delivery squad partnering with the Product Owner and Developers to:
- Participate in current and future state applications analysis
- Help craft functional solutions to business needs
- Identify system requirements and associated epics
- Write User Stories which include concise and clear system requirements which will be used by developers to implement
- Produce use case documents, functional solutions and system diagraming
- Develop domain expertise for assigned components
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in technology-related subject area
- 8 years systems analysis experience working with customer facing web applications
- Experience driving systems analysis and story refinement in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Good understanding of various web application components and how they interact with each other (e.g. web pages, API’s, backend systems)
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Deep experience using a wide range of analysis techniques and technologies to deliver high quality technical analysis
- Experience providing deep technical analysis of customer facing internet applications developed using modern technologies such as Angular, Java/Javascript, CSS, HTML, Spring/SpringBoot, REST, and SOAP
- Proven experience performing data sourcing and mapping analysis for REST and SOAP services; Ability to analyze backend data sources by writing SQL queries
- Ability to analyze application logs using Datadog, Splunk or similar for both testing and production support
- Proven expertise identifying, defining and documenting clear and concise systems requirements, translating business needs into technical design solutions, identifying systems, interdependencies, and creating detailed design documents
- Ability to document end-to-end systems integrations via Process Flow diagrams and to communicate complex technical concepts and designs related to cloud (AWS) and on-premise web products
- Ability to translating analysis into JIRA/Agile stories that meet all acceptance criteria and can be handed off to developers for immediate execution
- Able to work on own initiative, highly proactive, self-motivated dedication towards work and resourceful

- Provide systems analysis support on an Agile team that includes multiple business and technology partners
- Collaborate with other Agile teams to identify dependencies and define scope
- Work with business and technology partners to define the scope of problems/issues and translate into system requirements
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and story maps
- Participate in backlog refinement sessions. Translate sophisticated business needs into clear, actionable, requirements/user stories
- Collaborate with Agile team members to research and evaluate alternative solutions
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
