What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Supervisor position at Elijah House?
Field Supervisors/Driver work may include conducting administrative tasks, form documentation, and maintaining staff training. They also monitor staff productivity during the weekend. Field Supervisors/Drivers are responsible for the safety of their crew members once their shifts begin. Working primarily with individuals in the criminal justice system, in recovery from drug or alcohol addiction or homelessness; being a mentor and coach crew members to help them lead a more productive lifestyle is an important aspect in this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Field Supervisors/Drivers will transport and supervise road crews.
- Utilize The Elijah House vehicles/vans to transport work crews to various locations for litter abatement, graffiti removal, brush removal, etc
- Oversee the day to day operations of road crew, including training, managing & evaluating road crew employees, while maintaining safety standards, on a daily basis
- Preparing work crew for success by teaching them critical employment soft skills and transferable skills.
- Work with the Operations Supervisor to build internal support for your team
- Maintaining and submitting the necessary documentation
- Responsible for assuring that work crew vehicles are in proper working condition, contain proper tools and equipment, and are outfitted for the day’s work assignment.
- Other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
Pay Range: $22-$24/hr.

Education and Minimum Qualification:
- Must possess a High School diploma or a GED.
- Must be very familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights.
- Valid Driver’s License
