- 1-3 years of cooking/kitchen experience preferred
- Intermediate computer reporting experience preferred
- Food preparation experience including: Measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling
- Using and cleaning equipment and materials for food preparation and cleanup
- Ability to follow direction regarding food preparation, storage and safety
The Lead Cook is responsible for overseeing and participating in the preparation of food items in accordance with recipes and standards while maintaining a neat, clean and safe work environment. Duties of this position include handling and preparing food in accordance with sanitary regulations, controlling food and inventory costs and assistance in supervising of shift operations. The ideal candidate must be able to handle multiple priorities and have excellent leadership and communication skills. Preference may be given to candidates who possess an advanced degree in culinary arts or related field. This position requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to lift, stack and maneuver objects that may weigh 30 to 50 pounds. Performs all other related duties as assigned by management.
