IT Manager
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced IT Manager for an oilfield supply company. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, management, and maintenance of our client’s information technology infrastructure. IT Manager
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced IT Manager for an oilfield supply company. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, management, and maintenance of our client’s information technology infrastructure. This is a direct hire position, offering a competitive salary ranging from $45,000 to $60,000, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall IT operations, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, network devices, and other IT infrastructure components.
- Oversee the administration and troubleshooting of software applications and provide technical support to end-users.
- Ensure the integrity and security of data, systems, and networks through effective backup and recovery procedures, firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficient and secure operations.
- Evaluate the company's IT needs and make recommendations for hardware, software, and system upgrades or enhancements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to identify and resolve IT issues and implement new technologies.
- Train and support employees on IT-related matters, promoting IT awareness and best practices within the organization.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in IT to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.
- Manage IT budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective procurement of IT equipment and services.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, and systems administration.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and network protocols.
- Experience with virtualization technologies, cloud computing, and cybersecurity practices.
- Familiarity with oilfield operations and related software applications is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify and resolve complex IT issues.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
