Flooring Installer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various types of flooring materials in residential and commercial settings.

Duties:

- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Install flooring materials such as carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile
- Prepare subfloors by removing old flooring, leveling surfaces, and cleaning debris
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installations
- Perform water damage restoration when necessary
- Conduct trim carpentry work to finish edges and corners
- Collaborate with construction painters for seamless transitions
- Buff and caulk flooring for a polished finish
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installations

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Flooring Installer or similar role
- Knowledge of various flooring materials and installation techniques
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and perform trim carpentry
- Familiarity with water damage restoration processes
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Nice-to-have Skills:

- Experience in construction painting for blending colors seamlessly
- Proficiency in buffing techniques for a smooth finish
- Caulking expertise for sealing gaps effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
