Business Systems Analyst

The role of the Business Systems Analyst encompasses a range of responsibilities to oversee the efficient operation of core business systems. This entails effectively managing projects related to critical business application systems, ensuring end users are trained to utilize these systems to meet business needs, and maximizing company profitability. Collaboration with various IT, Finance, Operations, and Sales departments is essential to execute strategic business initiatives.

The role involves but is not limited to:

• Shaping and executing the strategic direction for business systems.
• Ensuring the stability and adaptability of existing applications.
• Proposing solutions for complex business challenges.
• Initiating and overseeing business application projects, guiding the team in creating new business processes, and documenting enhancement requests.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to implement system enhancements, maintaining vendor relationships, and contributing to budgeting processes are also key aspects.
• Coordinating application testing.
• Defining operational requirements.
• Implementing new reporting methods.
• Collaborating with users to analyze business needs.
• Managing major Strategic Business Initiatives and providing input and justifications for business application endeavors are vital responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
• 5-7 years of ERP, CRM, or other similar systems experience
• Strong Project Management experience
• Working knowledge of business applications and experience with ERP systems is required
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Travel 25% to other location
