What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical QA/QC position at Elite Force Staffing?
As an Electrical QA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical systems within the project. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and tests on electrical systems to ensure they meet the required standards and codes. You will collaborate closely with the project team to identify and address any issues or potential risks and provide recommendations for improvement. Additionally, you will review electrical design plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of electrical system installations. Primarily medium voltage, but may include low and high voltage systems (i.e. LSS, I&C, power distribution/generation etc.)
- Complete all QA documentation and any other reports that are required for the project
- Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs and scheduling Inspect and test systems
- Track, manage, and monitor supplies and materials received and used to complete the project
- Work with and communicate effectively with subcontractors, superintendents, office staff, engineering staff, consultants, and owner's representatives to facilitate project activities
- Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings
- Preform final QA on installations
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for all aspects of Electrical Systems
- Answering questions of a technical nature during project execution
Requirements
- Minimum 5-10 years verifiable electrical experience in field
- Five to ten years related experience in the construction industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of relevant Codes and Standards (IEEE, NEMA, NFPA, NETA)
· Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite – with extensive experience/understanding in Excel
· Proficiency in use of QA/QC and Cx software applications such as BIM360, CxAlloy, Facility Grid, and other related QA/QC and Cx applications.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certified
- Must be able to pass a background check/drug text
- First Aid/CPR Certified preferred – will get you certified on site if needed
- Able to pass a Fit test – Blood pressure, breathing, heart rate, etc.
Pay – up to 45/hr. based on experience
$125 per diem daily – on 6 days
Schedule – 58 hours – 5 10’s and 1 8 hr. workday
Job Types: Temp-to-hire, Contract, Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 58 per week
