VCS is looking for Cleaner / Janitor at Auburn CA. EarnGift Cards up to $250 every Month. Work Location : Auburn CA PayRate : $20 / hour Attendance / Performance Appreciation : Up to$250 / Month as Gift Cards (NonTaxable) Shifts : Multiple shiftsavailable.
Qualifications : Must be 18 years of age or older JobDescription : Cleans and maintains buildings / facilities. Performsheavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors shampooing rugswashing walls and glass and removing rubbish.
Notifies managersconcerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions tobuilding operating systems Establishes and maintains effectivecommunication and working relationships with clients coworkersshift coordinators supervisors managers etc.
Complies with allsafety security compliance and quality standards and proceduresestablished by the Company Clients and regulatory authoritiesCleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that areassigned.
Responsibilities Cleans building floors by sweepingmopping scrubbing or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the useof chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damageto floors and fixtures.
Sometimes using ladders dusts and washesfurniture walls machines and equipment; cleans ceilings and dustsand polishes light fixtures.
Washes and replaces blinds Movescabinets boxes furniture crates and equipment to clean areas eithermanually or by using hand trucks May remove stains from suchsurfaces as rugs drapes walls and floors using chemicals andcleaning solutions.
May also sweep walks rake leaves cut grassremove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks Mixes waterand detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutionsaccording to specifications.
Strips seals finishes and polishesfloors. Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas including application ofspot cleaning treatment.
Gathers and empties trash. Wipes andcleans tabletops chairs and equipment in food areas. Cleans andpolishes furniture and fixtures.
Sprays insecticides and fumigants to preventinsect and rodent infestation. Sets up arranges and removesdecorations tables chairs ladders and scaffolding to preparefacilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
Must keepjanitors closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in goodworking order. Requisitions supplies and equipment needed forcleaning and maintenance duties.
Dress Code : These positions willbe in offices so nice jeans will be required. No shorts holes injeans etc. A Tshirt will be provided in many if not most locations.
