About You

You love to build, it's in your DNA. You are a technologist at heart and willing to collaborate with various people and departments to drive our business strategy forward. You've worked with various languages, and have a good understanding of programming in general. You create modular, reusable, maintainable code. You take your work seriously and can be counted on.

About the Position

This is a hybrid position: minimum 2 days per week on site at our offices in Holland, Michigan

The position requires that you are comfortable writing PHP, and can work with Node, React, Twig, CSS and Javascript. Our current technology stack consists of PHP, MySQL, Redis, Solr, Twig, SCSS, React, Python, Go, Containers (Docker) and much more. Your primary focus in this role will be new code, troubleshooting and fixing bugs, and developing new solutions to our business strategies. You'll work towards containerizing our applications and build quality testing tools in order to minimize production issues. You are willing to take on a greenfield project, as well as build onto our existing applications.

Skills and Qualifications

• Expertise working with PHP, Symfony, Twig, Node, SQL, shell, and containers.
• 2 Years of experience in web application development.
• Familiarity with Drupal 10 encouraged, but not required.
• Experience with development tools such as Git, Composer, NPM, and CI.
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design of a technology stack.
• Comfortable in multiple operating environments (FreeBSD, Windows, Linux, MacOS).
• Open to feedback and input.
