What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthopedic Technician position at ELITE OMC?
Looking for Orthopedic Technician for a busy private orthopedic practice in Glen Burnie, MD. Applicants will work with both the Orthopedic Surgeon(s) and Physician Assistant who combined see anywhere from 80-200 patients a week. Medical Assistant certificate is NOT required. Phlebotomy license is a bonus.
Experience preferred but not required. Willing to train onsite.
Tuesday 8-430pm
Thursday 9-7pm
Back/tech duties:
- Room/triage patients
- Present patient HPI to provider
- keep patient flow/appointments running on time
- Prep/Clean rooms
- Draw up injections
- Ultrasound set up
- Assist with injections
- Suture removal/Staple
- Assist with casting/splinting
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
