Winter Internship
Internship Timeline: December - January

Elite Orthopedics Internship is about getting students experience in the field of study they are interested in. That field of study should be medical device sales. During this internship the student will have opportunities to learn from sales representatives and staff and get a chance to shadow a few surgical cases as allowed. Due to credentialing rules and new guidelines regarding COVID-19 these shadowing’s may be limited. The intern will have the opportunity to get in the classroom and watch the director of medical education teach new reps the newest surgical techniques and get hands on with these techniques using sawbones and medical devices. Other roles the intern will have will be working in the inventory room and doing inventory management with the staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inventory management
- Organizational skills
- Hands on learning using sawbones and possible cadavers
- Shadowing Surgical Sales Reps when possible
- Assisting the company in various duties including but not limited to cleaning and organizing essential office areas.
- Watch and discuss surgical videos
- Strong sense of urgency
- Willing to do work that is repetitive, mindless or tedious
- Ability to lift over 50lbs consistently
- Be willing to drive and help out our current team of surgical reps should a delivery need to be made
- Take part in new rep trainings as they are available

Education and Experience:
- College Student preferably with emphasis in business and/or health science
- A strong desire to get into the medical sales field
